A VIP client in North Carolina contacted us to plan a trip to Atlanta. He was taking four friends to watch the NFL College Football Playoff National Championship and wanted to arrange road or air travel, accommodation and match tickets through one point of contact. The client knew the market and set our team strict budgets. With just six days to go until the game, we got to work on a bespoke travel solution.

Aircraft: Cessna Citation CJ2+
We recommended a private jet charter over driving, as it was faster, bypassed game-day traffic and allowed the group to travel together on one aircraft. Knowing the client preferred flying in a Cessna CitationJet, we leveraged our relationship with a local operator in Atlanta to secure a great rate on a CJ2+, booking one of the last airport slots as soon as we got the go-ahead. We also sorted a luxury car service to get the group to and from the airport.
Anticipating high demand, the client had booked five-star accommodation in advance. Our experts in The Travel Division reached out to their contact at the hotel and re-reserved the three rooms with added perks such as money-back and complimentary breakfast. The Travel Division also negotiated a competitive price for a private suite at the arena, which included food, drinks and seating for 22 people. This meant our client was able to invite more friends and family to enjoy the game alongside him, making the trip extra special.
When a power outage caused widespread flight delays at the departure airport, our team kept the client fully updated on the status of the charter whilst liaising with the operator to get things moving as soon as possible. Luckily, the airport operated on generators to ensure private flights could still take off and the group made it to the game in time.
